Mr. Orlando cultivated his legal skills at the New York blue chip law firm of Kaye Scholer, LLP. There, he cut his teeth working on newsworthy and complex film and television transactions handling some of the biggest names in Hollywood. On the corporate side, Mr. Orlando handled deals for private equity funds (in mergers and acquisitions and fund formation matters) as well as wind energy development companies. On the startup scene, he has successfully represented large restaurants as well as consumer goods, new media, and tech companies all along their evolutionary path — from company formation, to IP licensing, product distribution, consulting and master services agreements, to early stage financings.
Mr. Orlando graduated from Loyola Law School where he was a senior editor for the International and Comparative Law Review. Prior to law school, Emanuel attended Princeton University and thereafter worked for a successful internet consulting firm and major entertainment talent agency.
